Prefix.

Sometimes we fashion homes away from ourselves, seeking refuge in people, relationships, possessions, and myriad other domains.; then we spend our lives in there wondering why nothing makes us whole.

The truth is, there is an unfinished home deep within us—a crucible where the essence of life flows and our deepest truths reside.

Life orchestrates a dance within us, blending the vibrant colors of joy with the somber shades of sorrow. Moments of introspection call us to face our innermost selves, revealing both the captivating beauty and the haunting echoes of our past. Amidst these complexities lies a sanctuary waiting to be discovered—a home where our truest essence resides.

Maybe by acknowledging and embracing this inner dwelling, we can find solace and nourishment, feeding our souls with true self-love and acceptance. Only then can we feel whole, having found a genuine refuge within ourselves.

Lyrics.

Intro:

Pride is like a dance

That reveals all our hidden fears

Don’t you dare offend me, therefore I’m offended.

Undiscovered darkness, holds powerful secrets.

Escapism, my sweet prison

Brief joy,

Ever lasting pain

Pre -Chorus:

Some of us we never flow

No way home

Some of us we can’t know.

Running on

Verse:

NPC Living, A place where

Preconceived notions reaffirming the space

Rejecting opposites, our horrors making their way

While the algorithms feed us every night

The lack of opposites amplifying the space

Inherently more offended, the embodiment of hate.

NPC Living,

A place where Hail self centred, all self serving, pretentious dreamers stay.

I deserve my own documentary

An article detailing my artistic calling.

I'm a legend i deserve world’s attention.

Look up-to me, as I proudly present my presentable virtue.

A Multifaceted, versatile Artist.

Writer, composer, phenomenal storyteller, I understand world, a pseudo philosopher.

A performative activist. Preaching wisdom whilst being trapped in the cage of acknowledgment.

While i oppress my own shame, my unpresentable perversion. Hoping i can somehow skip my guiltiness, skipping being called a hypocrite.

So Is this genuine? Or me reimagining my own narrative?

Pre -Chorus:

Some of us we never flow

No way home

Some of us we can’t know.

Running on

Chorus:

Who Am I beneath all this pride?

Just a shadow lost in the light?

Beneath all this noise a truth hides,

In the mirror, who Am I?

Can you admit, Admit it! (Who am I)

Can you admit it! (Who am I)

Can you admit, Admit it! (Who am I)

Can you admit it! (Who am I)

Can you admit, Admit it! (Who am I)

Can you admit, Admit it! (Who am I)

Can you admit, Admit it! (Who am I)

Admit it, admit it.

Verse:

Alright,

My pride, there’s a truth in it.

Protective primitive defences, engrained in it.

Who am I?

A 3,000 year old question of my identity

The caste Pride, the untouchable tribe, generational crime,

Look down, fold your hands.

You’re just a woman, i guess that sounds familiar?

You’re simply unworthy to be seen equal.

Trapped in traditions, serving the system

The very system that defines our freedom.

Dictating who to speak to, to move to, marry & live too.

Pre -Chorus:

Some of us we never flow

No way home

Some of us we can’t know.

Running on

Bridge:

They speak. My fears, wearing voices I’ve heard before.

Sharon: Centuries of chains, coded in our veins,

  1. Dismissal (“It’s just a trend”)

It has become a fashion to talk about our this way, he wants to get famous talking about this.

Sharon: Inherently silenced, tamed to obey.

 2. Denial (“That doesn’t happen anymore”)

It doesn’t really happen anymore? Haha.

Indian3:

Says the privileged ones, haha. There’s a reality out here.

Sharon: Deep aggression, a fire unfed

3. Mockery (“Fake accent”)

You’re ugly, do you even shower? Crusty one!

The smelly one raps with Fake accent, haha

Sharon: The powerless, carving some power to feed.

4. Personal attacks

women aren’t even safe where you come from,

You definitely have touched someone, haha everyone knows, haha.

Sharon: The cold world, can only get cruel indeed.

5. Accusations (“You’re playing victim”) what about what you’ve done? Shame sharon.

You’re playing a good victim, oh these browns needs some petty, haha. now these creeps join.

Sharon, i see you’re directing a narrative. Great propaganda for you pal.

Verse:

Now that the war is inside,

The conscious verses unconscious

The sharp push & pull

Aimee calls it back & forth

And My sister warns me not to go down this rabbit hole

Pursuing painful patterns like trying to please our parents, but they’ve been busy tho.

Now that Fear resurfacing, fear of rejection, as deep confusion

But don’t worry, We’re in this together, Me & my sister. A failed experiment

This is a life of occupational escapist

Trying to prove I’I’m worth it

To my initial caregivers

To the irrelevant strangers

Truly Enslaved,

From here flows my sense of direction

What is love & acceptance

A fairytale juggled in every part of our living

A fight or flight zone,

Fear of incompetence, underperformance

Fear of general survival

Fear of not being seen for who i am

Fear from all the wrong choices, and the consequences

All backed into a defensive mechanism

Where the world is one battlefield

And me Presenting a version with chest up

Shoulder’s straight

Broken child, ashamed

Now turned into a cold stone

I am now called man

An esteemed identity

A Masquerade as pride, built to survive

A failed refuge

Outro:

Some of us we never flow

No way home

Some of us we can’t know.

Running on
