Inspired by a real-life incident from 2019, Death Said Breathe is an experimental audio-film in song form that took six years to fully arrive. Born from a moment of profound despair and a real call that changed the course of life, the song explores what it feels like to be untethered—drowning in hopelessness, exhausted by the self, and longing for an end.

At its heart lies a quiet philosophy: the end we seek can be a release, a letting go of the suffering self, creating space for rebirth, transformation, and the fragile fullness of life. Through aching verses, suffocating choruses, and delicate textures, the song moves toward the command: “Breathe, Death said breathe.”

To then echoing John 3:3—“Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God”—it concludes in release and an invitation to be carried far away, toward the internally healed, loving, and settled fullness explored in previous releases like Home and upcoming projects.

Hello? I don’t know, I feel like I’m drowning

I’ve always been drowning. But this time I don’t have anything to hold on to

There’s no purpose, there’s no reason. There’s nothing

Where was all that Hope there is

Closing in

Why, won’t I flow

But, there’s Still heart in this

It can’t make what it is

So,What is Hope

Verse:

Take me, I don’t deserve this

Just one Sign of sun-shine in this dark night

Riddle a Lifeline, my hell’s begging

Slowly, slowly, it unfolds..

I’m Drowning Down, Drowning Down

Verse

Far…

Side the sea

We flew here

To seek the truth

I’m drowning down

I’m drowning down

Grace Calling,

To be Crowned despairing

Let cowardly pain & fear go.

Worthy, to be hanged free.

Pre Chorus:

Because I could’t flow,

And I Didn’t know what left me.

But, What left me?

 So, Im Falling Off,

Falling Down,

Till I’ve Fallen Drown,

Until, Death said.

Breathe,

Breathe, Death said Breathe.

Death said Breathe
